The benefits of working at home!

One of the biggest benefits of working from home is that I get to spend the day with my beloved dog, Coco Channel....
The bad thing about "home office" is that you tend to sit in your sweaty workout clothes all day until the night.
I have changed up this routine! The minute I get home from the gym, I shower, put on my tight jeans LOL and put a touch of makeup and earrings. It makes me feel so much better and not like a slug.........

First Annual Pinky Club, North Hampton, NH

So, it was the first annual "Pinky Club" sleepover at Christine's house.
Pinky Club consists of Jane, Dee, Christine and myself. We have been friends since all meeting at Bianco's catering too many years ago.
It was quite hysterical since everyone is going through menopause and having "hotflashes" although Dee insists she is not!
Driving in a car with four women in this condition is out of control. Jackets were flying off, hair being put in pony tails, windows flying open and the girls all talking at once! Pretty funny.
We had a wonderful time, a little shopping, eating delicious meals, thank you Christine.
So, I was a big mouth (as usual) about healthy eating etc. Jane was sweet enough to bring cookies and chocolate covered pretzels and I insisted that sugar is not a good present and we don't need that now.....well, I was a bit rude but unfortunately, I always speak my mind.... so from this day forward, I WILL NOT EAT SUGAR! So, Pinky Club president, I will be doing this with you and we can start today........
Love you guys, I had the best time......sorry for my big mouth but I just care!

It is all about my family

I am one of 11 children and I will post all of my siblings at some point but the most important ones to post are my parents, Richard and Nancy.

They are both the most amazing, giving and loving parents a girl could have. As some of you know, I went through some tough times but thanks to my parents, I am what I am today.........healthy, happy and have the most wonderful son, George who is in the photo above with my parents.

To the left is my brother, Mike and his wife Beth and their beloved PickWick. To the right of them, is my sister Tara, my best friend, Isabel, her daughter and my son George.

My favourite part of the day!

This sunrise by Tony Lattari, http://www.tonylattari.com/ represents my most favourite part of the day. This is when I exercise, walk my precious dog, Coco Chanel a maltipoo and do a sort of meditation. It is quiet, no cars, no people just the beautiful sunrise! Thank you, Tony!

The Pinky Club

We call ourselves "The Pinky Club".

We all met when we were working at Bianco's Catering years ago and have been the best of friends since. We meet about once a month. Whatever happens in Pinky Club, stays in Pinky Club, hence the name, "pinky swear".

About me:

This is the happiest I have been in my life and that's because there is now more to look forward to than at any time in my past. I am relaunching my modeling career, concentrating on fitness and eating well and starting a new business venture with some of the brightest people I know. This product will be launching this fall and I will talk more about it when we get closer to the time.
Many of you may recognize me from my modeling days in New York, London, Paris and Milan. I was very lucky to have been one of the "super models" of the 80"s and had a wonderful time and had some of the most incredible experiences of my life. I met some of the most creative, most intelligent and some of my best friends. I am still modeling and am with Maggie Inc. Boston, MA, Bryan Bantry, NY, NY; Exte Model Management, Helsinki and Masters Models, Paris.
As for my fitness background. I wrote a book with Jeff Aquilon, called "One on One" in the early eighties. I am currently an ACE and NSCA certified Personal Trainer, I have my 200 hour RYT through Yogafit, and my Pilates certification through Physical Mind Institute of NYC.
Health, fitness and cooking are my passions in life and that is what this blog is all about.
